Artist Statement
My paintings evoke my emotional response to nature. Compositions evolve, mostly unplanned, recalling memories of time spent walking wooded trails, open fields, and along the shore of Lakes Superior and Michigan. My hope is the viewer will find their own story in my paintings and experience the peace and happiness that is found in nature.
